Little Engine Ventures (LEV) recently acquired Recycle Guy of Tipton, IN from Brook & Linda “Suzy” Edwards. LEV has hired a new CEO, Nick Vollmer to oversee the company’s future. Brook Edwards, COO will remain with the company as a part-time driver and salesmen. His wife, Suzy will retire after a short transition period so she can spend time with her grandchildren.
“Little Engine Ventures is legit,” said Brook Edwards. “I believe they will be able to invest in equipment and expand our area of service. Suzy wanted to retire but I’m still full of energy.” Edwards will continue as an employee for the foreseeable future. The company provides roll off dumpster service to north central Indiana. The change of ownership was effective February 16th, 2018.
“Brook and Suzy ran a clean business,” Starr said. “We intend to make them proud.”
Little Engine Ventures is a private investment partnership located in Lafayette, IN and managed by local entrepreneur, Daryl Starr. Little Engine Ventures makes investments across a diverse range of industries. This is the firm’s first investment in municipal solid waste. Recycle Guy CEO Nick Vollmer (firstname.lastname@example.org) is looking to hire drivers and add trucks to the fleet in the coming months.
